Background & Objective

As part of ILO’s ‘Strengthening Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) Policy in Asia’ project, ILO is partnering with Korean Social Enterprise Promotion Agency (KoSEA) and Underdogs to hold a virtual capacity building workshop on March 29-31 following the research conference, ‘Mapping Social and Solidarity Economy in Asia’, held in September 2020.

The purpose of this workshop is to:

ILO constituents (government, employer, and worker representatives), practitioners, researchers and other relevant stakeholders from the six Asian countries (China, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, and the Philippines) will be invited to this workshop.

The ‘Strengthening SSE Policy in Asia’ project is funded by the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) of the Republic of Korea. The project aims to enhance the understanding of the SSE in Asia and the Pacific region and provide technical support to countries in need of developing/strengthening their SSE policy.
